Andrea Williams

YO-TV Manager

Andrea holds a B.A. from Yale University and an M.F.A. in Film from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. An active filmmaker, Andrea has received numerous honors and awards for her work, including a Student Academy Award nomination, the IFP Gordon Parks Award for Emerging African American Director and grants from Showtime Networks, Fox Television and Warner Brothers Pictures. Her film, A Spoonful of Sugar, recently won FIRST PRIZE in the BETJ Best Shorts Film Competition. In addition to her position as Manager of YO-TV, Andrea has taught at Rutgers University in their African American Studies Department. In her spare time, Andrea likes switching places with her twin sister and seeing where she can get away with it.
