Jen Meagher

Jen is an independent media producer specializing in web, video, and social media content. Jen earned her Masters degree in interactive media from NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP). Her professional experience has straddled both media production and the use of media as a tool for education and advocacy. Jen led media education and outreach initiatives at the Human Rights Watch Film Festival High School Program and later as Director of Marketing & Community Engagement at EVC. At Blowback Productions, Jen served as production associate and assistant editor on social issue documentaries broadcast on HBO, NBC, and the Discovery Channel. Jen has also served as a web producer/production manager building out front-end web content for barnesandnoble.com, HBO.com, and the AMC, IFC, and WE television networks. Most recently, as project manager at Sixapart, Jen managed production of customized social media sites for nonprofit and small business clients on the MovableType platform.
