Justice Whitaker comes from the sunny shores of California. Justice has been taking photos since he was 5 years old, and by the time he was 21, he had traveled the world from Central America to East Asia, camera in hand every step of the way. His passion for the world seen through the lens led him across the country to study filmmaking at New York University where he received his degree in Film & TV Production. During his undergraduate studies Justice lived in Johannesburg, South Africa as well as Accra, Ghana during which time he traveled extensively shooting photography, documentary, narrative, and experimental films. Justice now shares his experience in the craft by teaching filmmaking, creative writing, and photography to inner city high school students in New York while continuing to develop his photography and film work.
