Rebecca Di Meo is a community artist from Milwaukee, WI who uses art as a tool for social change. After graduating with a degree in general fine art from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in Baltimore, she went on to earn her MA in Community Arts from MICA. While studying in Baltimore, Di Meo worked with a youth media organization called New Lens Productions, where she worked with young people to create video and media projects about sexual health, homophobia, relationships, and consent. In addition to her work as a Documentary Instructor with EVC, Rebecca also works with runaway and homeless youth as the Coordinator of Harm Reduction with an organization called the Streetwork Project.
