Keon
My name is Keon. I am an eighteen-year-old artist born and bred in Brooklyn, New York. I grew up in the ghetto projects in a three bedroom apartment with my mother, little brother, and my sister. Growing up I was always a fairly good kid. I didn't get into many fights or have my parent called up from school. Although I didn't grow up with a father I still learned how to be a man and stand up for myself and take care of my family when my mother or sister couldn't do it. I was always the artist type, stuck up for my family values, and always fought for what I believed was right. I believe that the purpose of life is to give those who don't have what you have things such as love and care that may be missing in their lives. My mother told me that she would give her children everything that she didn't have growing up. So I want to do the same for my little brother and my children. Right now I'm on my way to college for graphic design. I love art and every form it comes in from paint to sound. It represents who and what I am: a rebel fighting off oppression through free expression.
