Ricardo

My name is Ricardo. I am 19 years old. I was born in Puerto Rico and raised in the Bronx. I attend Satellite Academy High School. I am a strong man that always goes for what he wants. I am very outgoing, and I usually get along with anyone. I work well with other people. I also love music. It’s my life. I eat, sleep, and breath music. I am mostly into R&B. I am not the best singer in the world, but I’ve got talent. I am also a songwriter, and I drum and play some piano and guitar. My goal in life is to be successful through music. Hopefully my talent will take me very far in life. I joined this program at first because I really needed the credits, but as the time went on I realized this is actually pretty interesting and fun. I love to interview. I feel like questions just come naturally to me. I even considered making a career in interviewing. If anything, I must say I am pretty good at it, and that’s something about myself that I did not know I could do. I love the experience that I am gaining from this. Our topic is deep and something I enjoy working on because it is something that is affecting all urban communities. I feel through this documentary we are going to open the eyes of many people.
