Victoria Guillem

Victoria is a media arts educator, a nonfiction documentary filmmaker, and a member of the programming committee at Millennium Film Workshop. Victoria has a BFA in film from New York University and a passion for increasing youth’s access to documentary filmmaking. A first generation Ecuadorian from New York City, her original short films explore the themes of personal identity, time, family, and diaspora. Her work has been included in the Anthology Film Archives New Filmmakers series, the Universe Multicultural Film Festival, the Vancouver Latin American Film Festival, and the Hallucine Film Festival. It has also been screened at various local showcases and screenings in Brooklyn. Prior to working at EVC, Victoria was an Assistant Editor for documentary films. Two of the documentaries she worked on were part of Sundance 2023's top 10.
