My name is Christopher, and I'm an intern at EVC which stands for the Educational Video Center. I am 17 and a senior in high school. I go to De Witt Clinton High School in the Bronx. Right now we are working on a documentary about the Rockefeller Drug Laws and how it affects people sent to jail under these laws and their families. This semester at EVC there’s me and eight other wonderful people as well as our great teacher who helps steer us in the right direction with our project. We have done many different things: street interviews with various people as well as interviewing experts on their thoughts and statistical facts. What I would like to do after graduating high school is something that involves aiding others. An example would be a fireman or a lifeguard. I am also very interested, however, in game designing and would to like to pursue that. I think this internship is going to help me if I would ever consider going into movie making. It does get difficult sometimes, but I am one for a challenge! In the end, it’s worth it, and I can look back and say I had a part in making this documentary. I am glad to have been given this opportunity to work with so many beautiful women and men who are making an impact on the world.
