In YO-TV you will:
Earn a Stipend While You Build Your Resume,
Learn Advanced Filmmaking Skills,
and Make Contacts for Your Future

What you bring:
• Prior video experience (a school project or something you’ve produced on your own)
• High School Diploma or a GED

What you’ll get:
• Receive a weekly stipend
• Work for a client
• Meet industry professionals
• Improve your filmmaking skills
• Get college prep guidance
• Host a year-end premiere screening of your final film project


Past YO-TV projects include: a nationally-broadcasted documentary for a PBS Bill Moyers series, a documentary on the international criminal court for the Human Rights Watch International Film Festival, and a tape produced for the Brooklyn Museum of Art's exhibition, From Hip to Hip Hop: Black Fashion and a Culture of Influence. YO-TV graduates have gone on to work in broadcast, cable, and independent media such as NBC, New York 1 News, Manhattan Neighborhood Network and PBS.
