The Gap: A Class Struggle for Equity follows youth producers as they do a deep investigative dive into the many inequities of the U.S. tax system. Students conducted thorough firsthand and secondhand research to explore how the U.S. uses tax dollars, how wealth is taxed, and how tax exemptions for the rich affect NYC public schools. The film features a youth producer panel where they reflect on how they are affected by the system and imagine a more equitable future.
