We are pleased to announce EVC has moved its offices to City-As-School HS in the West Village neighborhood of Manhattan. EVC Executive Director Steve Goodman says, “We’re thrilled to collaborate with City-As-School, one of the great pioneers of experiential education in our city. We’ve enjoyed having City-As-School students and teachers in EVC workshops over the past 3 decades, and look forward to bringing our work to deeper level. Principal Alan Cheng is an inspired leader promoting our shared values of progressive, learner-centered education. We feel like we’re coming home.”
The move comes on the heels of City-As-School’s 40th anniversary, and right in time for EVC’s 30th anniversary in 2014. CAS Principal Alan Cheng says, “EVC has been a tremendous resource for our school community. Each year we partner with over 400 organizations and each year we are confident that EVC is one of our most reliable and most positive experiences for our students. We are excited to be entering the next stage of this collaboration and are looking forward to our work together.”
