We’re proud to announce that EVC’s Basic Documentary Workshop crew, and the program’s director, Christine L. Mendoza, were guests on Dr. Fritz Galette’s weekly radio program “The Dr. Fritz Show,” on WWLR-AM, to discuss their experience at the Educational Video Center and their work on this semester’s important documentary topic: “Disconnected Youth”.
The program was prerecorded last week and will be broadcast at 10 pm on May 3, 2012. We hope you can join us. WWLR-AM can be found at 1600 on the AM dial.
The student filmmakers explained how their time at EVC has helped them academically and in what may be their future profession. They are considered to be experts in the topic they are documenting, and psychologist Dr. Fritz engaged them to explore solutions to the problems of youth unemployment and disconnection from school.
