Our Summer Youth presented their first practice project to the Long Island University Teaching Fellows this week during one of their afternoon classes. They began with a team-building activity, followed by the screening of the three mini projects they created last week on social issues in their community. After the post-screening Q&A, the group discussed teachers and students in a high school setting (how they are seen, disciplinary actions, and special education students).
