EVC’s Summer Teachers Institute is an intensive, multi-day experience of media making, reflection, and curriculum development. Teachers learn project-based facilitation strategies designed to build their students’ digital and print literacy, critical thinking, and group collaboration skills. In addition, teachers learn about EVC’s strategies to assess student growth and learning through portfolio presentations.
