In this five-day professional development intensive, teachers and youth workers will learn to plan, facilitate and assess Common Core aligned, media project-based units that will build their students’ 21st century literacy, critical thinking and artistic storytelling skills. The workshop is experiential, giving participants the opportunity to work collaboratively to produce an inquiry-based video, then reflect on that experience and discuss effective facilitation strategies and lesson plans for scaffolding the very same critical and creative process for their students.
