Description
Youth producers skillfully weave a historical overview of student and social protest movements together with current testimony from young, outspoken New York City activists. Their goal is to inspire and motivate their peers to become more socially and politically active. Youth producers pose a number of important questions including, What are the most pressing social problems affecting young people’s daily lives? How can youth organize themselves to make a positive change in their communities? Among the organizations profiled are: Prison Moratorium Project, Make the Road By Walking and Raptivism Records.
