  • The Next Generation Is Now: EVC Alum Spotlight

We at EVC are proud to celebrate our graduates from the past three decades whose documentaries have challenged us to think critically about pressing social issues in our lives. And we’re proud that they’ve gone on to make a difference in the world in countless ways — through the films they create, the communities they serve, and the students they teach. In The Next Generation Is Now video series, we will hear stories from other EVC alumni like Ahmed, as they reflect on their past films, and how they’re using their EVC experience to change the world today. With your continued support, EVC can help the next generation of students to make their voices heard and be change agents in their communities. Please include a generous donation to EVC’s Annual Appeal in your year-end giving and help us reach our fundraising goal of $6,000 by the end of December. Each dollar you give contributes to the education of a future EVC youth producer. The next generation is now. To view more student snapshots and video testimonials, click here. Tell us your story! More than twenty years later, the crew reunited to produce Unequal Education Revisited, bearing witness to the long-term impact that inequities plaguing our society – in education, justice and healthcare – have on those struggling to survive. *************************************** To RSVP, please contact our Office and Communications Assistant, Winnie Lau, at wlau@evc.org To make a tax-deductible gift, click here Thanks to the Media and Social Change Lab and the Center for Multiple Languages and Literacies for co-sponsoring this event.
